  • Inhibition of galectins with high-affinity carbohydrate ligands: testing in cells (cell culture cultivation, flow cytometry, microscopy – bright field, fluorescence)
  • Cell assays (angiogenesis, binding-inhibition assay, study of carbohydrate-protein interaction)
  • Molecular biology techniques: qPCR, knock out of genes by CRISPR-Cas9
  • Protein detection: cell lysis and fractionation, SDS-PAGE, Western blot
